Description:

AYURYOGA 100-hour Training Course

I started ballet at the age of 3, and by the age of 14 I was a member of the Ballet de Euskadi.

I have been practising yoga and mindfulness for years, and through these practices I have found a path to self-knowledge that is free from self-imposed pressure and competitiveness. It is a way of learning and teaching based on respect and tranquillity – which I believe is the best way to learn!

I combine my career in HR and training with yoga.

I learnt ballet from great teachers from Spain, Russia, England and Cuba. My training was always based on the Baganova method, renowned for its rigour and aesthetic.

A technique that involves working on pointe and a high degree of flexibility. It is fluid and involves precise movements and a high degree of discipline

In this regard, my yoga sessions focus on aesthetic movements and fluid, harmonious transitions. However, my yoga classes are a far cry from that rigid, strict style which, in a way, limits one’s abilities, skills and creative development

These are classes in which I allow students to explore their space, their bodies and their limitations. I encourage them to try different poses, which, whilst they may not be perfect today, will become so in the future with practice, patience and self-awareness. In my classes, we explore the Doshas as applied to yoga to create a more mindful practice, tailored to each student, to harmonise your body, mind and spirit.

And by the way, I’m a Vata!

You’ll notice right from the start that these sessions are different from what you might be used to, because I combine classical and traditional music from other countries with the yoga practises. This helps you to understand and improve your body’s ability to adapt to the rhythm of the music. They’re also different because, once a month, we learn a little more about the history of yoga, different disciplines, chakras, and so on.

Workshops:

Mindfulness and Emotional Management Workshop

Before we start practising mindfulness, it is worth understanding why we do it and what purpose it serves. That is why this workshop is not just about mindfulness, but also about understanding our emotions and how to manage them. Negative emotions are not “bad” in themselves, but if we do not know how to manage them, they can become a problem both physically and mentally. This affects our personal lives, our families, our working environments, our friendships, and so on. Using a cognitive-behavioural approach, and in a simple and visual way, we will first learn to tune into our inner selves.

Emotional Intelligence Maps are a highly visual and effective tool for understanding our emotions and how to manage them. Once the basic emotions have been identified, practising mindfulness will serve a specific purpose in relation to the Maps

Business Yoga and Mindfulness Workshop

This workshop aims to equip participants with the tools to manage negative emotions in the workplace

The aim is to identify and explore emotions that are harmful. This involves identifying the stimulus and the response, and managing the interval that allows us to interpret the situation, thereby gaining better control through mindfulness techniques.

“Ability to manage emotional states”, which would include their “perception, understanding, regulation and constructive use” (Mayer and Salovey, 1997)

Simple yoga and breathing techniques will be used to relieve stress and reduce anxiety. These are practices that can be used on a daily basis in a work environment, whether you’re in the office or working from home.

We want to provide participants with a range of tools that they can put into practice in their day-to-day lives, enabling them to achieve an optimal level of calm
